Bus route updates
Many bus routes have been updated recently. If your child’s route has changed, you should have received a letter from First Student. You can also find bus route information in your Skyward Family Access account and on the district website. For questions about school district bus service, please call First Student at 360-841-7099. Thank you.
PSAT testing
Students in eighth through 12th grades can take the PSAT on Oct. 22 or Oct. 29. Register now to save a spot! Only 25 spots are available for each date. Transportation is not provided. PSAT testing helps students prepare for the SAT, identifies their academic strengths and evaluates their eligibility for scholarships such as the National Merit Scholarship.
Refer a student to the Aspire Highly Capable Program
Do you know a student who demonstrates advanced academic abilities or potential? Through Dec. 5, the Aspire Highly Capable Program is accepting referrals for testing. Aspire is our highly capable/gifted education program. Get the details on the process and timeline.
Unexcused absence notifications
Please note that there were incorrect notifications and interruptions in notifications for unexcused absences between Sept. 25 and Oct. 2. These issues, which have been resolved, were due to adjustments to parent/guardian data as a result of the earlier Skyward update. We apologize for the confusion. Thank you for your continued patience. See more information about attendance.
October school meals
School breakfast and lunch menus for October are available online. Meals can be paid through InTouch Receipting.
Report, don’t repost safety concerns
If you see or hear of a possible threat, please report it to law enforcement directly and/or to school staff. This is the best and most helpful action because it begins an investigation and helps to limit the potential for misinformation to spread. You can report bullying, intimidation, harassment, threats and safety concerns using our anonymous reporting system. Emergencies should always be reported to 911.
Register to vote in the upcoming general election
