Bus information

Battle Ground Public Schools contracts with First Student, which has an outstanding safety record, to provide bus service for students. Every day, 128 buses travel the 273-square-mile district to take students to and from school. The buses travel 11,720 miles daily, not counting field trips, athletic events, etc.

How to request that your child ride a bus

You can request bus transportation through Skyward Family Access.

Bus routes are in Skyward

Bus routes are typically posted in Skyward the week before school begins. Select the “transportation” tile on the home screen. You will be able to view the bus number, stop address and approximate pickup and dropoff times.

Snow routes

If snow routes are in effect in the morning, those same buses will also be on snow routes in the afternoon, regardless of the weather by that time. Primary students whose snow route stop is different from their regular stop must be met by a parent or guardian at the snow route stop at the end of the day. Otherwise, the student will be transported back to school.
