HIV/AIDS PREVENTION PREVIEW 


The curriculum preview & opt-out instructions are up year-round on the district website. 

To preview materials you can:

     1.) Visit the  district website at: http://www.battlegroundps.org/home/hiv-aidsprevention/hiv-aids-curriculum

 

     2.) Attend a preview meeting on Tues., October 24, 2017 at Maple Grove K-8 from 5:00 to 6:30 PM in the library/media center.

 

     3.) View Materials anytime in person in the middle & high school offices.

 

Parents may opt their child/children out of this curriculum teaching if they wish, either online (see above website) or by requesting a form in the school office.

 

Reminder: If you have opted out 1 or more children before, you don’t need to again. Their family will remain opted out unless they instruct us otherwise.

Picture Retake Day

Wednesday, Oct 25th

Students who were absent on 9/21/17 and new students will have their picture taken. If you wish to have picture retakes you must bring your COMPLETE picture packet with you to the photographer.

Battle Ground Public Schools seeks classified substitutes

We currently have multiple positions open for classified substitutes. These positions are on-call and as needed to fill in for classified employees who are absent for various reasons, such as illness, conference attendance or short-term leaves. Classified positions would include categories such as Basic Education Assistants (recess duty, lunchroom monitor, bus duty, etc.) Special Education Assistants (assisting with supervision and instruction of special needs students) and Support Services Instructional Assistants (instructional support in reading and/or math for individual students and/or small groups).


If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a classified substitute, please visit our jobs webpage and submit an application.
